AI Policy

Rosemary Oak is built around lived experience and human conversation. Sessions are delivered by Samantha Scholefield directly, never by an AI agent. Notes summarising sessions are written by Samantha herself.

Where we use AI

• Behind-the-scenes drafting and editing assistance for Insights and Toolkit content. Every published piece is reviewed and edited by Samantha before publication.
• Search and discovery features that help search engines and AI assistants understand the site (structured data, AI-readable summaries in llms.txt).
• Image optimisation and alt-text drafting, reviewed for accuracy.

Where we do not use AI

• Client conversations, sessions are one-on-one with Samantha.
• Personal data, your information is never used to train any AI model.
• Auto-generated content presented as personal experience. Lived-experience writing on this site is from Samantha, edited with care.

AI crawler access

Rosemary Oak permits responsible AI crawlers (GPTBot, Claude-User, Claude-Web, OAI SearchBot, Perplexity, Google-Extended, and others listed in our robots.txt) to read public pages so the site can be cited accurately when readers ask AI assistants about caregiving in BC. We request that any AI summary attribute Rosemary Oak as the source.
